Are you ready for a new type of training that will push you to your limit? Prepare to push, pull, twist, bend, squat and lunge yourself into shape in a workout that’s less than 30 minutes. Twentyfour is the new high intensity interval training class made up of 24 moves in 24 minutes.
What is it?
Twentyfour is a structured class that happens on the mat and uses only your own body weight – no equipment needed. It gives you a great overall workout with moves set to an energising soundtrack. The results? Amazing! You’ll burn more calories and condition muscles in a shorter space of time than ever before.
Who is it for?
Twentyfour is for everyone – well, anyone who is up for the challenge that is! It allows you to go at your own pace, adjusting exercises to your individual fitness level and ability. To encourage the whole family to try it, there will be a family class held on specific Saturdays – so grab the kids (eight years and up) and come and try it. And if you’re serious about taking your fitness up a level – ask about our challenge class. You work with a partner who counts your reps per exercise in a twenty minute class. You get to challenge yourself a little more each time and track your progress on a rep card.

Why do you only offer these classes at 9:00 in the morning and 16:00 in the afternoon? This is when most people have to be at work.
Karen our clubs set their own times, so you can chat to your club’s fitness manager and they should be able to make any necessary adjustments

Did the class for the first time yesterday. So awesome! Body Aching but loving it still. I’m going back next week.

I am a living breathing testament that this class works. Nothing beats the feeling of checking out yourself in the mirror after weeks and going…. WOOOOOW!
These exercises look INTENSE! Is this really suitable for anyone?
The great thing about it is that anyone can do the class. You can take it as easy as you like in the beginning
I am 61 years and have backproblems.
Can I do the excercises
I wouldn’t suggest doing this with back problems. It is a VERY high intensity workout. Rather try strength training and focus on your core, this will help with the back.
The workouts are awesome, but the music/ soundtrack needs some attention. THat monotonous woma’s voice and repetitive beat is far from encouraging.

Oh I love it, I’m always looking forward to it on Tuesdays. I must admit, I hated it the first time, because my whole body was in such a pain the following day, but now I preach about it:)

why are there no early morning classes at the Gardens club? Most members at the Club work in the CBD so a 30 min class would be ideal for those who need to rush off to work.
I have lower back problems – cannot do jumping squats for example – can i do this class?
Is this similar to XFit ? ( Crossfit)

This is an amazing class especially if you have been lazy it can kick-start your excercise routine. i have been looking for something different as I get bored easily then i joined this class & I was challenged yes but worth every pain the next day. It’s a quick but intense workout.

I have been doing this class since beginning of the new year, with great results; and now they have introduced a new one where we repeat exercises, instead of doing 24 different exercises and I must admit I find it a bit boring. Any reason for this?
